The annual round-up of Dulmen wild ponies on the Duke of Croy’s Merfelder Bruch estate, NorthRhine Westphalia, Germany.  Every year the country’s last remaining herd of wild horses is rounded up.  The colts are separated and sold at public auction and the mares along one or two stallions are then released to run wild. Dulmen ponies used to live wild across all of Westphalia but today, there is only this one wild herd left.
