Family Life of Grizzly Bears
These pictures provide a glimpse into family life, grizzly bear style. They
were shot by renowned wildlife photographer Andy Rouse during a three-week
trip to Alaska during the salmon spawning season.
Andy said: “I was on foot with the grizzlies, no safety net, no car, just
…it was an incredible experience to be so up close and personal all the
time; I got to love bears an awful lot during the trip.
On average, female grizzlies give birth to two cubs, caring for them for the
next two to three years.
