According to Snopes.com the dog above is not a military medal of honor winner, but instead a police dog named Spike. He is a Belgian Malanois who served honorably with the Scottsdale Arizona Police Department’s K-9 unit from 2001-2007. He never killed anyone, and was never trained to do that!
