Zookeepers at the Santa Barbara Zoo http://www.santabarbarazoo.org/ were
somewhat surprised but certainly delighted to discover that one of the Zoo’s
new Masai Giraffes had given birth to a male calf. The calf was measured at
5-feet 9-inches tall and weighed 106 pounds.
